Unless he’s studying medicine, getting another degree, or doing grad school, he really has no excuse to still be driving to his university’s campus if he is over 25. By this time, he is friends with everyone, from the guards at the gates to the coffee-boy in the Deanship of Student Affairs.
He has cemented his status as a permanent facet to campus life, and he’s kind of proud of it.
I met one particular white guy, let's call him Mark, who married a Palestinian woman.
During one of my shows, I asked his father-in-law how he could let such a thing happen.
What he’s usually wearing: a t-shirt, sunglasses that never ever go off, and a mod car, complete with shiny rims, flame stencils, and his number on the back window. He thinks he’s a tough ass when he’s generally just an ass.
He looks for a fight no matter where he is, and his favorite activity is hanging out in that shady gym on Dowar Al Dahkhleyeh.
I have never witnessed a Palestinian marry a white American only to start suddenly saying “dude,” liking Sarah Palin, and over-indulging in mayonnaise. I’ve had a few white girlfriends, and if they didn’t know about Palestine before, they sure did soon after. I remember that one time when Britney and Ashley both showed up to that anti-Israeli demonstration a few years ago… No Palestinian can claim to be independent of our history. To live a life divorced from political reality is an impossibility for any Palestinian. Our greatest achievement is our undying unwillingness to become casualties. You will redefine the word “cousin.” For us, it can mean a third cousin five times removed. You will find that you start dancing in circular line formations at weddings and celebrations. Cousins that you didn’t know you had will grab your hand and lead you in the right direction.
I was wondering what are the dating culture like for Jordanians?
I have dated guys from diff backgrounds eg: Europeans and Asians, though I find my culture alittle bit closer to his, I can't help noticing the difference. But sometimes his behaviour can be abit hard to adjust to.
We both love each other and he's been talking about marriage and stuff. Am very confused and he says he needs some time to "expose the truth" to his parents.

weekend, I was lucky enough to perform at the annual convention of the American Federation of Ramallah Palestine in Washington, DC. I performed in three comedy shows, and I can tell you this: Palestinians know how to laugh, especially at themselves.
